An exciting sales opportunity in a thriving digital marketing agency.
GMS is seeking an energetic business development executive to join our creative office in Sydney. We are a results-driven online advertising agency that helps drive revenue and boost sales for globally recognized brands and business owners.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
The successful candidate will report directly to the sales manager and directors of the business.
As a Digital Growth Consultant you are the first impression of every prospect that comes through the GMS doors. Your role is to convert applicants into new clients and onboard them onto the dedicated Account Manager within the first 30 days. You’ll work closely with every client and the designated Account Manager to ensure a smooth onboarding process and to execute and hit their monthly KPI’s.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years’ prior industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Elite communication skills, and a professional phone manner.
- Sales experience is essential (minimum 12 months)
- Business insights and experience to help other entrepreneurs succeed
- Willing to go the extra mile to see a client reach their goals
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Open to change and willing to test and learn new things
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify new business opportunities via Outbound Prospecting – LinkedIn, Email Marketing, Online Community Groups, Social Media, Industry Research and In-Person Networking etc…
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the business expand
- Facilitate the initial 30-day onboarding process with the Account Manager and Account Director
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
- Be able to sell high value 3, 6 and 12-month packages
- Confidence and ability on the phone to prospect and speak to 100+ businesses a week
- Report and work directly with the owner of the business
- Act as a “Growth Strategist” by tailoring digital marketing & advertising solutions to established businesses
